Abstract:

Illinois is implementing learning collaboratives throughout the state to address the loss to follow-up for newborn hearing screening. The opportunity is teaching our state to see the trees despite the forest. Through examining community systems which support newborn hearing screening, small strategies for change are being implemented. These small changes are creating an impact on the state system as a whole. Illinois will share practical and creative ways to use resources in a learning collaborative. We will share a brief overview of the Plan-Study-Do-Act Model and how you can measure your success or challenges before the annual report is available.
