Jodee has lived as a Deaf person all her life and currently works as an Early Intervention Coordinator with the Outreach Services for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Children in Indiana. Her roles involve assessment, eligibility determination, home-based family education services, counseling, Deaf Mentoring, presenting with stakeholders, participating in committee meetings, and drafting various position papers in best practices with Early Intervention. Jodee is married to a Deaf man and they have four sons. One of their son's is totally blind and hard of hearing. The rest of the children are Deaf. |

I am a Deaf woman with a hearing husband and 2 Deaf children; graduated from Gallaudet University with a BA in Psychology and Education; have a Masters in Deaf Education specializing in Elementary Education; worked in school settings for 20+ years with supervisory roles in most of career; currently employed as the Professional Development Coordinator at Indiana Deaf School; very involved in theatre for 30+ years as a personal interest since being a young child; directed a number of school plays and theater events since college; co-founder of Talkin' Hands, a visual musical touring group (years 1981-85)and performed at the 1985 Deaf Olympics in Los Angeles; and currently am the director of Vibrations, a newly formed visual music performing arts touring troupe at the Indiana Deaf School. |

Andrew Rork, CI/CT, is a staff interpreter at the Indiana School for the Deaf and the Technical Director of Vibrations. He has been an interpreter for over 20 years and is a native user of American Sign Language. Andrew is a former Assistant Director of Deaf Community Services of Indianapolis and Coordinator of DeafLink in Fort Wayne. He attended Ball State University and Indiana University-Purdue University of Indianapolis (IUPUI) majoring in telecommunications. His past presentations have included workshops on interpreting for a case conference and self-advocacy for high school students. Andrew has been with Vibrations since it began, which allows him to share his love and appreciation of music with deaf and hard-of-hearing students at the Indiana School for the Deaf. |
