SoundScape- Interactive Online Listening Activities

Technology and online games are more commonly used in therapy settings both in home and in school. MED-EL Corporation offers a free of charge, fun and interactive set of online games through their website. These games are appropriate for a variety of ages and hearing loss. In this presentation, participants will not only learn about these games, but also work collaboratively with the group to create and discover how these online tools can bridge positive and consistent listening and language skills beyond the use of computers and tablets.

  • Participant will be able to navigate website to find online games
  • Participant will identify age group for corresponding online language games
  • Participant will brainstorm carryover language activities that can be used apart from the technology drive listening and language games.
