CHARGE Syndrome Foundation Liaisons: Local Support, National Strength

Newly diagnosed families can connect with CHARGE Syndrome Foundation Liaisons for local level support. The Liaison Project is a model of collaboration to improve the Foundation’s outreach to both families and professionals at the national level. Liaisons build relationships, network, collaborate and disseminate information. They are asked to share the latest CHARGE resources with the State Deaf-Blind Projects and the families. They assist in helping both the Foundation and the State Projects in identifying families. They update the Foundation on available state resources and help families access the resources of the Foundation. Through our annual Walk & Roll for CHARGE, they promote connections among the CHARGE families in their state.

  • Participants will identify the CHARGE Syndrome liaison assigned to their local area.
  • Participants will recall two services provided by the CHARGE Syndrome Foundation
  • Participants will be able to explain two unique supports available from CSF Liaisons
