The EHDI Annual Conference ("Conference") is an annual program of the National Center for Hearing Assessment and Management at Utah State University ("NCHAM").
NCHAM is committed to providing a safe, productive, and welcoming environment to all Conference participants. The Conference is intended to serve as a forum for the presentation of research and discussion relating to early hearing detection and intervention programs. To encourage dialogue and open participation, Registrant agrees to interact with other attendees in a collegial, respectful, and professional manner. Discrimination, harassment, or bullying of any kind during the Conference will not be tolerated. NCHAM reserves the right to deny Conference access to Registrant if these expectations are violated during the Conference.
Registrant acknowledges that the views expressed by Conference attendees, speakers, exhibitors, and sponsors do not necessarily reflect the official views, policies, or position of NCHAM and that Conference participants are solely responsible for their actions and for all of their content presented at or in connection with the Conference.
Registrant acknowledges and agrees that participation in the Conference is conditioned upon the Registrant complying with all requirements associated with the venue, whether such requirements are imposed by the venue itself (e.g., hosting hotel or conference center), local or state government or its agencies, or the federal government or its agencies. Registrant acknowledges that requirements associated with public health may be required as a prerequisite to participation in the Conference.
Registrant acknowledges that Conference sessions and other aspects of the Conference may be recorded in film, photograph, or audio formats for online/offsite distribution, archival, or marketing purposes. Registrant authorizes NCHAM to include Registrant in such recordings and grants to NCHAM the right to use and edit such recordings at its discretion and without restriction.
Registrant voluntarily assumes all risks, hazards, and dangers relating to participation in the Conference, including, but not limited to, the risks of loss or damage to property or personal injury, sickness, or death, including the risk of exposure to diseases. Registrant hereby voluntarily releases and forever discharges NCHAM from all liability, claims, demands, attorney fees, actions, or rights of action which are related to, arise out of, or are in any way connected with Registrant's participation in the Conference, including specifically, but not limited to, the negligent acts or omissions of NCHAM for any and all bodily injury, death, illness, disability, or damage to Registrant or to Registrant's property.
NCHAM reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at its sole discretion and without prior notice. Amendments to the Terms & Conditions will be posted on www.ehdiconference.org.
