2024 Early Hearing Detection & Intervention Conference

March 17-19, 2024 • Denver, CO

State Stakeholders' Meetings

WHAT is a State Stakeholders’ meeting?
The goal of the EHDI Annual Conference is to enhance the implementation of comprehensive state-based Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (EHDI) programs. The Stakeholders’ meeting is a time for states/territories to meet to discuss topics important to their Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (EHDI) programs. It is hoped that stakeholder meetings will build on information and networking opportunities established during the conference.

NEW for 2024:
State/Territory Stakeholder Meetings have immense value within the EHDI System. In the past, a time has been designated for these meeting during the conference but we are planning something new this year. For 2024, most Stakeholder Meetings will be held outside of the EHDI Conference. If you have questions about this or want more information about your state’s meeting, please feel free to contact your state EHDI Coordinator.

More information about this change is coming soon!

WHO should attend the Stakeholders’ Meeting?
All attendees, regardless of their role, should join their state/territory meeting to learn more about current goals or initiatives to decrease children who are lost to follow-up/documentation and increase the number of infants screened no later than 1 month of age, diagnosed no later than 3 months of age and enrolled in early intervention no later than 6 months of age. This meeting is facilitated by the EHDI Coordinator (or a designee) for each state/territory; feel free to contact them for additional information if you have yet to receive any correspondence by March 1, 2024.
