Bridging Gaps: Enhancing Collaboration between EHDI and Part C Programs

The successful transition of young children from Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (EDHI) programs to Part C Early Intervention services is critical for optimizing developmental outcomes. However, gaps in communication and coordination between these programs can hinder this process. "Bridging Gaps: Enhancing Collaboration between EDHI and Part C Programs" explores strategies to foster more effective partnerships between these two vital components of early childhood care. This presentation will outline the current challenges faced in transitioning children from EDHI to Part C services and present evidence-based solutions for improving integration and communication. Through case studies, best practices, and actionable recommendations, participants will gain practical insights into creating seamless transitions for families, ensuring timely intervention, and ultimately supporting better developmental trajectories for children. Join us to discover how to align efforts, share resources, and build a unified approach to early childhood intervention.
